La rééducation d'un patient atteint d'une hémiplégie est une indication fréquente de la kinésithérapie.
Les auteurs prendrons comme modèle la rééducation d'un patient atteint d'une hémiplégie gauche, associée à un trouble attentionnel portant sur l'espace, la négligence spatiale unilatérale (NSU). Après avoir détaillé l'origine, les mécanismes, les conséquences en vie quotidienne et la prise en charge spécifique de ce trouble par les autres professionnels de rééducation, ils montreront qu'en pratique, au cours de la prise en charge en kinésithérapie du patient, le mouvement et les fonctions cognitives sont intimement liés et que le guidage manuel représente une technique de choix.

As a model, the authors use the re-education of a patient suffering from left hemiplegia, associated with an attention disorder concerning space, unilateral spatial neglect (USN). After describing the origin, mechanisms and consequences in everyday life and the specific care of this disorder by other re-education professionals, they demonstrate that, in practice, during the physiotherapy of the patient, movement and cognitive functions are closely related and that manual guidance is a choice technique.
